All semi-finished Al MMC product forms and finished parts begin as vacuum hot-pressed billets. Whatever secondary process or finishing operation you envision for conventional aluminum, with few exceptions, it is adaptable to Al MMCs using the same metalworking and finishing equipment and facilities. From a manufacturing perspective, DWA’s Al MMCs possess the highest “fit, form and function” of all available metal composites.
